What data we handle

Local storage. Your project data is saved in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We have no access to this data.

Google Drive (optional). If you choose to connect Google Drive, your project file is read from and written to your own Google Drive account directly from your browser. We do not have access to your Google account, your files, or your access tokens. Authentication is handled entirely by Google.

No account required. Chartdown has no user accounts, no registration, and no backend database.

Third-party services

Chartdown loads scripts from Google (accounts.google.com, apis.google.com) to enable the optional Google Drive integration. If you use this feature, Google's own Privacy Policy applies to that authentication and file access.

The app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of normal CDN operation. We do not access or process these logs.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics service. We do not know who you are or that you visited this site.

Children's privacy

Chartdown is a general-purpose productivity tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Since we collect no data, changes are likely to be minor clarifications only.
